By downloading, installing, or using Ontario G1 Ready or the website at g1ready.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the app or site.
1. About the App
Ontario G1 Ready is an independent knowledge test practice tool operated by Hoorz Technology Inc., a corporation incorporated in Ontario, Canada. The app is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the MTO, DriveTest, ServiceOntario, or the Government of Ontario.
2. No Guarantee of Exam Results
Passing practice quizzes does not guarantee passing the official Ontario G1 knowledge test. The app is a study aid only. Ontario G1 Ready makes no representations that use of the app will result in a passing score on the official exam administered by DriveTest.
3. Eligibility
The app is intended for users aged 16 and older (the minimum age to obtain an Ontario G1 licence). By using the app, you represent that you are at least 16 years of age, or that a parent or guardian has agreed to these terms on your behalf.
4. In-App Purchases
Full Access ($6.99 CAD) and the Pass Protection Bundle ($14.99 CAD) are one-time non-consumable lifetime purchases processed by Apple or Google. All purchases are final unless required otherwise by the refund policies of Apple or Google, or by applicable Canadian consumer protection law.
5. G1 Readiness Certificate
The G1 Readiness Certificate is a practice performance award issued by Hoorz Technology Inc. It has no official status, is not recognized by the MTO, DriveTest, any government body, any insurance company, or any driving school, and has no insurance implications of any kind.
6. Intellectual Property
All content in the app and site — including quiz questions, explanations, road sign illustrations, UI design, and the Ontario G1 Ready name and logo — is owned by Hoorz Technology Inc. and protected by Canadian copyright law. You may not copy, reproduce, or commercialize any content without prior written permission.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
The app is provided on an "as is" basis without warranties of any kind. We make reasonable efforts to maintain content accuracy against the current MTO handbook but cannot guarantee perfection at all times.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Hoorz Technology Inc. shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the app, including failure to pass the G1 exam. Our aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for in-app purchases in the 12 months preceding the claim.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario, Canada.
10. Changes to These Terms
Material changes will be communicated through an in-app notice. Continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
