Short version: Ontario G1 Ready is designed to work without collecting any personal information. Your quiz results and study progress are stored on your device only and never sent to our servers. We do not sell data. Ever.
1. Who We Are
Ontario G1 Ready is operated by Hoorz Technology Inc., a corporation incorporated in Ontario, Canada. This Privacy Policy applies to the Ontario G1 Ready mobile application and the website at g1ready.com, and is written to comply with PIPEDA and applicable Ontario privacy law.
2. Information Collected Automatically
When you first open the app, we generate and store locally: a random installation identifier (not tied to your hardware), your device platform, the app version, and the date of installation. This is stored on your device only and used solely to personalize your study experience.
3. Information You Voluntarily Provide
To personalize your experience, the app may ask for your first name, email address, age range, city, and how you heard about us. None of this is required. Each prompt includes a Skip option. If you provide an email and check the consent box, we may send you G1 study tips. Unsubscribe anytime by contacting our privacy team.
4. Quiz Performance and Study Data
All quiz results, readiness scores, study history, and performance analytics are stored locally on your device. This data is never transmitted to our servers. If you uninstall the app, this data is permanently deleted. We cannot access or recover it.
5. In-App Purchase Data
Purchases are processed entirely by Apple or Google. Hoorz Technology Inc. does not receive your payment card information. Purchase verification is handled by RevenueCat, whose privacy policy is available at revenuecat.com/privacy.
6. Analytics
The app logs anonymized usage events (such as "quiz completed" or "feature opened"). These events do not contain personally identifiable information and are used only to improve the product.
7. Advertising
The free version of the app displays advertisements served by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect device advertising identifiers and usage data to serve relevant ads, as described in Google's Privacy Policy. You can opt out through your device settings. Users with Full Access or the Pass Bundle are permanently excluded from all advertising.
8. G1 Readiness Certificate
If you generate a certificate, your name and email (if provided) are embedded locally and stored on your device under a credential ID. Certificate data does not leave your device unless you share it.
9. Children's Privacy
The app is intended for users aged 16 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information, contact our privacy team immediately.
10. Your Rights (PIPEDA)
You have the right to access, correct, or delete information we hold about you. Study data is on your device — use Settings to reset it. For voluntarily provided information, contact our Privacy Officer.
11. Data Security
We use industry-standard security practices and encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS). On-device data is protected by your device's built-in security (iOS Secure Enclave, Android Keystore).
12. Changes to This Policy
Material changes will be communicated through an in-app notice before taking effect. Continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
